Ariel Grossman ’10 (BUS) and Geoffrey Winkley ’11 (ENG & BUS)

Ariel Grossman ’10 (BUS) married Geoffrey Winkley ’11 (ENG & BUS) on November 3, 2018 in Baltimore, MD where they live. The wedding party was full of other UConn Huskies including Emily Kozak ’10, Ilana Eides ’11, Lyndsey Sonkin ’10, Kevin McQuade ’11, Joshua Lesse ’11, and Will Carnes ’11.

Rebecca Levine Hadfield ’11 (BUS)

Rebecca Levine ’11 (BUS) married Ross Hadfield in Newport, RI on September 23, 2018 with a number of UConn Huskies in attendance.

Brendan Crouse ’11 (BUS) and Holly Sansolo ’11 (CLAS)

Brendan Crouse ’11 (BUS) and Holly Sansolo ’11 (CLAS) married in Middletown, CT on November 24th, 2018.  The couple now lives in Norwalk, CT.  Brendan works for Pepperidge Farm located in Norwalk and Hollywork for Indeed.com, located in Stamford. Brendan is currently pursuing his MBA at the UConn Stamford campus and is an adjunct professor teaching OPIM 3103.

Eric King ’10 JD and Amber (Doucette) King ’07 (CLAS), ’10 JD

Eric King ’10 JD & his wife Amber (Doucette) King ’07 (CLAS), ’10 JD, welcomed their son, Noah Everest King, into the world on May 7, 2018.  The couple married in 2016, lives in West Hartford, CT and are both attorneys in the greater Hartford area.

Cassandra Fiorenza ‘12 (Fine Arts)

Cassandra Fiorenza ‘12 (Fine Arts) recently launched a company called Collective 131, an online art gallery exclusively features emerging female artists. Cassandra is also busy planning her wedding at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston for June 2019.

Zachary Binkowski ’09 (PHARM) ’11 PharmD (PHARM) ’17 MA

Zachary Binkowski ’09 (PHARM) ’11 PharmD (PHARM) ’17 MA was recently named Employee of the Year 2018 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Dr. Binkowski is the Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Medical Center and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the UCONN School of Pharmacy. Through affiliation with the Medical Center he is also an Assistant Professor at Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine where his teaching focuses on various aspects of pharmacotherapy.

Simon Perlsweig ’16 (CLAS)

Simon Perlsweig ’16 (CLAS) has published his first book, Front Porches to Front Lines, One Small Town’s Mobilization of Men, Women, Manufacturing and Money during World War One. The book is a historical memoir, which tells the story of his maternal great-grandparents, who lived in Springfield, Vermont during the Great War and subsequent Influenza Epidemic of 1918.

Laura Vargo ’11 (CLAS) and Jeff Petrower ’11 BS  ’11 MS (BUS)

On Saturday, October 20, 2018, Laura Vargo ’11 (CLAS) married Jeff Petrower ’11 BS  ’11 MS (BUS).

Bridal party also included Matron of Honor Elyssa (Shildneck) Kelly ’11 (CLAS), Maid of Honor Allison Gale ’11 (CLAS), Bridesmaid Abbey (Williams) Farrell ’11 (Nursing), Groomsman Ben Hochron ’11 (NUS), and Groomsman Dorian Bramarov ’12 (CLAS).

Both Elyssa and Abbey married UConn gents themselves and Dorian recently married a UConn gal, so it was about time that Jeff and I tied the knot! UConn couples are the best couples.

Stephanie Page ’11 (CLAS)

Stephanie Page ’11 (CLAS) was married on August 12, 2018 to James Cormier at Misselwood in Beverly MA. Stephanie and James have known each other since middle school and dated through high school.  After each went to off college they went their separate ways before reconnecting in 2015. Sarah Greenburg (Bannon) ’11 and Katherine Harlow ‘11 who were roommates of Stephanie while at UConn were part of the bridal party. Their friendship developed while in college has continued strong to this day.
