UConn women’s basketball games available to watch on-line through CPTV’s Hoop Streams
Are you a UConn alum who has moved out of the state and can no longer see your favorite basketball team on TV? The answer is here – and it’s as close as your computer!
For the fifth season, Connecticut Public Television – the official TV broadcast home of UConn Women’s Basketball – is once again offering all of its UConn broadcasts through an Internet subscription service called Hoop Streams.
The service provides live and on-demand access to CPTV-produced UConn games, The Geno Auriemma Show, expanded team features, archived games through the 2008-09 season and more. Hoop Streams subscribers have the unique flexibility to watch the games live on their computer or at a later date as many times as they choose.
Over the years, Hoop Streams has been a popular tool for UConn fans that have moved out of the state, winter “snow birds,” relatives of students and players, or anyone who wants to watch the games at their convenience. It makes a great gift!
The cost of subscription for the entire season is $49.95; $24.95 for a monthly pass; or $9.95 for pay-per-view broadcasts. All you need is a high-speed broadband Internet connection, a Mac or a PC and Windows Media Player. Participants can join by visiting cptv.org, keyword: hoopstreams, or click here.
Hoop Streams is made possible by AT&T Advanced TV.
Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) is a media service of the Connecticut Public Broadcast Network.
