Information

The Southeast Connecticut Chapter includes the towns of Bozrah, East Haddam, East Lyme, Essex, Griswold, Groton, Ledyard, Lisbon, Lyme, New London, North Franklin, North Stonington, Norwich, Montville, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Preston, Salem, Sprague, Voluntown and Waterford.

This chapter boasts more than 8,000 alumni.

We believe in offering a diverse array of opportunities for alumni to celebrate their proud UConn heritage and have fun doing it. Activities provide social and networking outlets for alumni of all ages.

Recent events have included basketball game watches, a Dinner co-sponsored with the New Haven Chapter featuring Coach Geno Auriemma, and a wine tasting at Sharpe Hill Vineyards in Pomfret, CT.

The SE Chapter is proud to sponsor annual scholarships to students at the Avery Point campus.

The volunteer board of directors meets several times a year to plan programs, expand alumni outreach and discuss issues concerning the university. All are encouraged & welcome to attend these meetings.
