As members of Kappa Kappa Psi, Music Service Fraternity we painted The Rock! In order to insure that someone else wouldn't come to paint over your hard work, we usually painted it in the middle of the night and sometimes stood guard until morning.

Each pledge class, spring and fall would paint the rock. In 1983, we hosted the District IX convention and painted the rock to welcome our visitors from other colleges.

Glad the tradition is back - everyone should paint the rock at least once!
