Job Postings


Who can post a job?

Alums who have registered for the Husky Alumni Network may post open positions. Corporate recruiters may also have access to the post to the Job Postings section on a case-by-case basis. See the chart below for a complete list of job posting rights.

* For the purpose of the Husky Alumni Network, the student category applies only to freshman, sophomore, and junior level students.

** External institutions that are also using Harris Connect systems may open their job postings to be viewable by other institutions. Those job postings are available when selecting the appropriate search parameters.

*** External institutions that are also using Harris Connect systems may allow their users to view resume postings from other institutions. In this case, they will be able to adjust their search parameters to include viewing resumes from University of Connecticut alums.

How do I post a job?

If you are an alum, log-in to the Husky Alumni Network, click on Career Services, then on Job Postings, then choose Create Job Postings. Fill out the appropriate fields and submit the information. The following screen details the target audience for the Job Posting, which is to only members of the Husky Alumni Network. Press submit again. Your Job Posting will be immediately viewable.

If you are not in the Husky Alumni Network and you are looking to post a position, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with appropriate position information to populate into the Job Postings fields. You may use the Job Posting document for easy reference.

What fields are available for Job Postings?

Required fields include Job Type (see list), Job Title, Job Description (max. 3500 characters), Company E-mail Address, and preference to have/not have your company information visible.

Additional fields include Salary Range Minimum, Salary Range Maximum, Company Name, Division, City, State/Province, Country, Company Website URL, and Additional Information (max. 255 characters).
